The International School of Central Switzerland is proud of its commitment to resource and equip our students for the ever changing needs of the 21st century.

Information and Communication Technology is an important, motivating and fully integrated component of learning at ISOCS.

Greatly assisted by the experience and creativity of our ICT Coordinator, our students, teachers and parents benefit from the access to interactive international resources and the latest skills and information. Please look at the various web links supporting our connected community on the Homepage.

Our Junior students typically research, record and annotate experiences on the interactive whiteboards to learn literacy conventions (in German and English) and to reflect and share their learning.  Check out our Flickr site to watch power points of our recent adventures!

Our Senior students use their personal laptops and the interactive whiteboards on a daily basis. They access multi-media resources to learn the skills and habits of globally connected and responsible learners. They use their own personal laptop computers to learn to type, correspond with other schools worldwide and use the carefully selected websites to explore their current Unit of Inquiry.

They also use computer technology to express their developing understandings about their learning through self-made newspapers, movies and power point presentations.
