Professional Memberships
The International School of Central Switzerland has been authorised by the Department of Education of the Canton of Zug to provide private education for the primary years and middle school years in Canton Zug.
The International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) has accepted the International School of Central Switzerland as an IB candidate school for the Primary Years Programme.
Our teachers are active members in IB initiatives such as
- the Swiss PYP Coordinators Group,
- PYP Threads an online PYP forum with thousands of members worldwide (founder and facilitator)
- and the provision of PYP best practice workshops and school visits to other IB candidate schools and IB World schools.
Our applications to the Swiss Group of International Schools (SGIS) and the Council of International Schools (CIS) are currently pending.
