Our founding faculty of school advisors and evaluators came together in 2008 with a shared vision to truly implement best practices of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and establish an international school in Switzerland of outstanding educational excellence.

The philosophy and mission of the International Baccalaureate shapes our school identity and culture. We are wholeheartedly committed to our educational journey following the IB, authorization process, towards, and far beyond our official Authorisation visits.

Our school is located in the beautiful, Swiss German, lakeside town of Cham on the outskirts of Zug within 20 minutes of Zurich and Lucerne.

The first thing you will notice upon coming to our school is the vibrant atmosphere, the cheerful colour scheme and the way in which our students and their thinking is honoured and celebrated wherever you look. As you visit our classrooms you will certainly be very impressed by our teachers’ positive and professional rapport with the students as they work intensively with individual students and study groups. You won’t fail to notice how engaged and confident our students are!
Having a maximum class size of 16 allows students and teachers to form close relationships where every student feels safe, known and nurtured.
Our Students are educated for the 21st Century
Don’t be surprised if our students welcome you spontaneously and offer to tell you more about our curriculum, special projects or how they learn best. Our students are proud of their school and of themselves as learners. They are truly prepared for the 21st century and its rapidly changing demands.
We are a member of the Swiss Group of International Schools (SGIS) which exists to support international schools in Switzerland in achieving their educational goals.
